Welfare Scheme Overview

Medical Welfare Scheme is a financial support program intended to assist individuals with healthcare expenses. Its primary goal is to ensure financial protection and secure access to necessary medical services.

 

Services Provided:

  • Financial assistance (food, accommodation, private room, therapy, hospitalization, ticket etc)
  • Cashless hospitalization and ticket costs for medical treatment abroad
  • Medicines and injections not covered by Aasandha
  • Support for Medical Assistive Devices (Oxygen Concentrator, Walker, Nebulizer, Suction Machine, Wheelchair, CPAP, BiPAP, Hearing Aid, Hospital bed and mattress, etc)
  • Local Cashless Hospitalization from ADK Hospital and Treetop Hospital
  • Island transfer of patients (locally)
  • Aasandha uncovered medical charges 

 

Eligibility & Application

Citizens with medical conditions requiring financial assistance may apply to this program by submitting the Welfare Form through My Aasandha Portal, via email, or by visiting Aasandha service counters.

 

Administration

Aasandha manages the administrative process of the NSPA Welfare Scheme. All applications are shared with the National Social Protection Agency (NSPA) through the Aasandha portal, and real-time updates are provided to patients through Aasandha office.
